The 2025 legislative session is now underway, and ³Ô¹Ïtv is advocating for priorities that empower youth and families. Our focus includes:
- Achieving Digital Equity: Ensuring access to learning devices, connectivity, and digital literacy training.
- Investing in Workforce Development: Supporting career readiness and workforce shortages for students and staff.
- Increasing Funding for Youth Development: Expanding programs to foster academic, social-emotional, and mental health support.
- Reducing Barriers to Success: Addressing systemic inequities, chronic absenteeism, and basic needs access.
These efforts are designed to ensure students furthest from educational justice have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
As part of a larger nonprofit network supporting 13 affiliates across Washington, we remain dedicated to empowering students statewide. Over the next few months, you’ll hear from us about progress on these priorities and the bills under consideration. At the end of the session, we’ll share a comprehensive report on how these legislative efforts will shape our programming and enhance our ability to serve communities across the state.
